PHOENIX (AP) -- Weather officials say more thunderstorms and rain are on tap for parts of Arizona that are already seeing some flooding.
Authorities say runoff from rain on Friday night caused flooding in areas of metropolitan Phoenix, stranding at least one motorist.
Phoenix firefighters rescued a woman Friday night after she drove into a flooded wash in north Phoenix and became stuck.
Several vehicles were also stuck because of flooding on Greenway Road and an Interstate 17 underpass.
The National Weather Service says a flash-flood watch is in effect for Saturday for most of the state, from Tucson to Flagstaff.
Officials say the rains are attributed to a moist air mass passing through the region followed by a low-pressure system coming from Mexico.
