PHOENIX — A woman was arrested Friday after allegedly making a bomb threat while attempted to rob a Mesa, Ariz. bank.
Mesa Police Sgt. Tony Landato said the woman walked up to a teller at the Chase Bank near Greenfield and Main and presented a note with a bomb threat.
“She remained in the bank for several minutes, allowing time for our officers to get on scene,” he said. “They were able to set up outside the bank where she was taken into custody.”
The suspect’s name has not been released, but Landato said she is in her 50s.
