PHOENIX -- Authorities say a 53-year-old man is dead following a home invasion in Phoenix.

Phoenix police on Friday identified the victim as Augustine Valenzuela.

They say he died at a hospital after being injured during a scuffle with three armed and masked suspects who forced entry late Thursday night.

Police say the suspects had gathered up the four residents of the home at gunpoint and forced them to the floor.

They say the suspects left the home after fatally injuring the resident.

Police say the three suspect remain at large and no descriptions are available.
