Western memorabilia up for auction in Scottsdale

PHOENIX — Western fine art, sculptures and memorabilia will be auctioned off to the highest bidder on Thursday at the J. Levine Auction & Appraisal in Scottsdale at 6 p.m.
The company’s summer quarterly auction will include items such as two Wyatt Earp Guns, a 1884 Dodge City photo signed by Wyatt Earp and a Frank and Jesse James Historic photograph that has been with a Surprise family for more than 100 years and is valued at up to $60,000.
The most striking items in the auction are the life-size woodcarvings of Earp, Billy the Kid, Daniel Boone and Jesse James, which are expected to fetch $30,000 to $50,000.
