PHOENIX -- Authorities in Phoenix said a passenger died Wednesday on a US Airways flight to Phoenix from Honolulu.
Fire Capt. Benjamin Santillan saidthe passenger was a woman in her 50s.
The woman lost consciousness while the plane was in the air. He said she had no pulse and was pronounced dead by responders after Flight 693 arrived at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix.
The plane left Honolulu Tuesday night and arrived in Phoenix shortly after 7 a.m.
US Airway's merger partner, American Airlines, did not immediately respond to inquiries.
