STANFIELD, Ariz. -- Pinal County authorities said two suspects have been arrested in the shooting death of a Stanfield man two months ago.
County Sheriff's officials said Tuesday that 33-year-old Luis Albert Hernandez and 35-year-old Estevan E. Angulo both are being held on suspicion of first-degree murder and kidnapping.
Both Stanfield men remained jailed with Hernandez having a $500,000 bond and Angulo a $250,000 bond. It's unclear if either has a lawyer.
Sheriff's officials said they received a 911 call on May 15 about a man's body found in a car in an unincorporated area of Stanfield.
The victim was later identified as 22-year-old Juan Perez Jimenez.
Sheriff's officials said Hernandez and Angulo made incriminating statements as to their involvement in the case when they were interviewed.
