PHOENIX -- Police are investigating a home burglary where four gold records for album sales by the 1970s musical group "Player" were stolen on July 16.
According to Phoenix Police, the incident occurred in North Phoenix at the home of John Friesen, who was a drummer for the musical group.
Police arrived at the residence and learned the suspects had forced their way in and taken jewelry and electronics with them.
Also taken from the home were two 45s and two LP albums awarded to Friesen.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a dark, blue-green Cadillac Escalade.
Public assistance is needed in identifying the person responsible for the burglary. Police are concerned that the suspect may attempt to sell the stolen gold record awards.
Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. The caller may remain anonymous and could receive a reward of up to $1,000.
