PHOENIX -- Arizonans have less than a week to register to vote in the state's Aug. 26 primary election.
Monday July 28 is the last day that Arizonans can register or make updates such as changing a party of registration in time to cast ballots in the primary election.
Independents can vote in the primary election by choosing one party's ballot.
Primary election voters will be choosing nominees to run in the November general election for such offices as state governor and U.S. representative.
Voters can register by mail, in person or online at the Secretary of State Office website.
