Real estate site names Tempe ‘most exciting’ Arizona city

Jul 16, 2014, 5:00 AM | Updated: 5:00 am

PHOENIX — Tempe continues to be a happenin’ place.

Movoto, a real estate blog, has ranked the “most exciting” cities in Arizona, and Tempe tops the list. Not surprisingly, the college town’s younger population helped it reach the top spot.

The blog used such criteria as nightlife, music venues and quality restaurants.

Flagstaff, Tucson, Scottsdale and Prescott rounded out the top five.

Phoenix tied with Casas Adobes for the tenth and final spot.
