BOISE, Idaho -- Boise police arrested a driver they said fled two traffic stops, tried to hit an officer's vehicle and barreled through a fence at a military base.

Police said they found 30-year-old Andrew P. Garza of Surprise, Ariz., on Sunday afternoon after a five-hour search. No one was hurt in the incidents.

Starting at 11:15 a.m., officers tried to stop a Chevrolet pickup twice in a five-minute period. The driver fled both times. Minutes later, police said Garza tried to ram a patrol vehicle, but the officer behind the wheel moved and wasn't injured.

The suspect then drove through a fence at Gowen Field before fleeing on foot. He was spotted hours later hiding in bushes.

Police said Garza was released from an Arizona prison 21 days ago.
