A 6-month-old girl and her grandmother were found in Arizona on Wednesday after an Amber Alert was issued to find them in California earlier in the day.

KNXV-TV in Phoenixtweeted Wednesday night that DPS confirmed that they were found in Arizona and the child was OK.

The girl was reported missing Wednesday afternoon by a family member, and she was found with her 57-year-old grandmother just after 6 p.m. at a Maricopa County gas station.

Police told KNBC-TV in Los Angeles that the grandmother has a history of mental illness, and a store clerk called police after the grandmother was seen giving the baby espresso coffee.
