PHOENIX -- Northern Arizona University has been awarded a $2.1 million grant to study climate change and invasive species.
The school can start using the National Science Foundation's money this month on the project, which will study "how temperatures affects the diversity of life on earth," the foundation said Tuesday in a statement.
The Emerging Frontiers study should help with conservation planning and outreach efforts.
The funding will last until spring 2019.
