PHOENIX — A Phoenix firefighter has been arrested for allegedly possessing and transporting marijuana for sale.
On June 27, 2014, Cary Robert Cole, 30, arrived at 34705 N. 24th Lane, a residence which was already under surveillance. Cole was seen loading several large trash bags into the bed of his truck.
Cole was then pulled over in a traffic stop, while a search warrant was obtained. Officers say they smelled marijuana, and a 20-pound bale of marijuana was found inside one of the trash bags.
The drugs were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Agency and an investigation is currently being conducted.
