PHOENIX (AP) -- Phoenix police say a 19-year-old man is in custody in a fatal shooting that occurred after a confrontation that occurred after the man blew his horn at a stopped vehicle.

According to police, Antonio Torres-Pena was arrested early Sunday morning in the shooting of 24-year-old Luis Gaona.

Police say Torres-Pena had honked his horn after getting stuck behind a stopped vehicle after leaving a party.

Police say Gaona was a passenger in the stopped vehicle and that he was shot after he confronted Torres-Pena during a fight between four people in the two vehicles.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson says Torres-Pena was taken into custody when his car broke down nearby.

Torres-Pena was booked into Maricopa County Jail on suspicion of second-degree murder. It's not immediately known whether he has an attorney.
