SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Three charred bodies found in the back of a burned pickup truck in a remote area of Surprise have been identified and authorities said it's a homicide case.

Surprise police said Wednesday that the victims have been identified as 25-year-old Garth Tuffle of Phoenix, 41-year-old William Kling of Wittmann and 57-year-old Lisa Baker of Wittmann.

An autopsy by the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office shows all three victims were shot before being burned.

The three bodies were found June 9 after Surprise firefighters responded to a vehicle fire near 219th Avenue and Sun Valley Parkway.

After the fire was extinguished, police say three bodies were found in the burned-out truck.

Police said they don't have any suspects in the case yet.
