Recycling to begin at trio of Arizona highway rest stops

PHOENIX — The roadside in Arizona is becoming a little more friendly to the planet.
The state Department of Transportation said three rests areas will be adding recycling containers.
For now, the McGuireville stop on Interstate 17, Hassayampa on U.S. 60, and Ehrenberg along Interstate 10.
The program teams up recycling vendors and as more join the program, more rest areas will be added.
