PHOENIX -- Gasoline prices around Arizona are slightly higher at the pumps this week.
Representatives with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.54 a gallon. That's up by more than a penny from last week.
This week's national average was $3.67 per gallon, an increase of almost 3 cents last week.
Analysts for the national motor club said with crude oil prices at a nearly nine-month high, retail gasoline prices are expected to keep rising.
Tucson has Arizona's lowest average gasoline price at $3.36 a gallon and Flagstaff has the highest at $3.75.
South Carolina has the lowest average gas prices among states in the continental U.S. at $3.40 a gallon with California having the highest at $4.10 a gallon.
