PHOENIX — It has been almost one year since the Yarnell Fire claimed the lives of 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots.
In order to honor the hotshots, the Hall of Flame Museum in Phoenix will host a one-year anniversary service Saturday.
The event will take place at the Hall of Flame Museum and begin with refreshments starting at 11 a.m. The service will begin at noon and take about an hour.
Although admission is free reservations are required.
For more information or to RSVP, call Ron Deutsch either at the museum 602-275-3473 or on his mobile 602-540-1554.
The Hall of Flame Museum is the world’s largest museum of firefighting history. The museum’s Hall of Heroes honors firefighters who have died in the line of duty or who have been decorated for acts of heroism.
