GLENDALE, Ariz. -- A suspect was in custody in connection with a fatal shooting at a Glendale apartment complex.
Glendale police said 28-year-old Dylan Labe Williams was being held on suspicion of second-degree murder and misconduct involving weapons.
George Palmer, 29, was found shot several times in the torso early Tuesday. He died Wednesday afternoon at a Glendale hospital.
Witnesses told police that Palmer and Williams, of Phoenix, weren't acquaintances but had been arguing earlier in a common area of the apartment complex.
They reportedly argued again later and it escalated into a physical confrontation before Williams allegedly pulled out a handgun.
