PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. -- Authorities have tripled the reward money for information leading to an arrest and/or conviction in the fatal stabbing of a Paradise Valley man last month.
Officials with the Silent Witness program said the new reward amount is $3,000.
Police investigators still are hoping to hear from anyone who can provide information about the death of 68-year-old Michael Gilman.
The body of the former businessman was found with multiple wounds in his home on April 29.
An autopsy determined Gilman was stabbed with one or more implements similar to a knife.
Neighbors living in Gilman's gated community said he kept to himself and reportedly split his time between Los Angeles and Phoenix.
