PHOENIX — A letter can go a long way, as one Glendale, Ariz. boy learned Tuesday.
Jaedon Gonzalez, 11, wrote a letter to police after his bike was stolen in April. He asked police to increase patrols so other people in his complex would not have to worry about their bikes.
When police received the letter, they decided to put preventative measures in place in the community to protect against theft.
Jaedon was still without a set of wheels, so officers surprised him with a new bike and lock.
