CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Authorities said a Chandler police officer was arrested after arriving at a job while drunk.

The 53-year-old officer was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence after arriving at an extra-duty job. Police spokesman Detective Seth Tyler said the officer's partner at the job noticed he was impaired and called for assistance.
