Survey: Arizona among top 20 states for minorities

PHOENIX — Arizona is among the top 20 states whose residents believe it is a good place for minorities, a poll said.
Arizona ranked 16th overall in the Gallup poll, with 84 percent of Arizonans saying the state is a good place for minorities to live.
Overall, the state that felt it is best suited for minorities is Hawaii, followed by Texas, Alaska, New Jersey and New Mexico, respectively.
The states that felt they are a bad place for minorities are Wyoming, Arkansas, Vermont, Missouri, respectively. West Virginia came in last with 76 percent of residents saying their state is good for minorities.
