PHOENIX -- A Prescott Valley, Ariz. teenager was arrested last week on suspicion of stealing a tuxedo to wear to prom, police said.

Kyle Terry Laderoot, 18, was arrested at his prom in Jerome, Ariz.

Laderoot is suspected of breaking a window at the Elegant Brides store in Prescott Valley and stealing the $600 tuxedo.

Police believed the stolen tux would be used for a prom and they were right. Laderoot was allegedly wearing the outfit and was identified by the robbery victim, who just happened to attend the same prom.

Laderoot was charged with burglary and criminal damage. He has not admitted to the crime.
