PHOENIX — SkySong is about to get even bigger.
The Arizona State University innovation campus in Scottsdale has recently announced a deal with developer Plaza Cos. for a “10,500-square-foot freestanding retail building within the growing mixed-use project,” according to the Phoenix Business Journal.
The $5 million retail structure will house three to five locally-owned shops and restaurants. The structure will sit on the western edge of the SkySong campus.
The retail spaces won’t be the only new addition to SkySong: Two new office buildings will also be added to the campus, and the school “recently completed a $44 million, 325-unit apartment project there.”
