FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Northern Arizona University graduates and their families will be coming and going in sequence as the Flagstaff school holds five spring-commencement ceremonies Friday and Saturday in its domed arena.

The Arizona Daily Sun reported that the ceremonies honoring nearly 5,000 students kick off with two ceremonies in the Skydome on Friday, followed by three on Saturday for graduates from various colleges and programs.

The university will hold a sixth ceremony in Yuma on May 16 at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Those receiving honorary degrees include Jack Jewett, a former Board of Regents member, ex-legislator and current president of the Flinn Foundation.
