TUCSON, Ariz. -- Authorities in Tucson say two suspects are in custody in connection with a bank robbery last month.
Tucson police announced Thursday that 26-year-old Francisco Soto and 37-year-old Jason Guerrero both have been booked into the Pima County Jail on suspicion of aggravated robbery.
A Wells Fargo Bank branch inside a supermarket on North Stone Avenue was robbed on March 28.
Police say a man wearing a distinctive striped shirt approached a bank teller and presented a note demanding money. The robber then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police say Soto was located and detained Tuesday. They say Guerrero was believed to be the getaway driver and was arrested Wednesday.
It wasn't immediately clear Thursday if either Soto or Guerrero has a lawyer yet.
