PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- Two teenagers accused of throwing rocks at passing cars in Prescott were reported by a police officer for a neighboring city whose unmarked car was one of the vehicles hit.

A 13-year-old girl told police that she and a 13-year-old boy were trying to thrown small stones between cars and placing rocks in the road to watch vehicles crush them, but she acknowledged that some of the rocks had hit cars.

The Daily Courier reported there was no apparent damage to the car driven by Prescott Valley police Sgt. Brandon Bonney.

The case will be referred to the Yavapai County Attorney's Office. The incident happened Thursday.
