FLORENCE, Ariz. -- A San Tan Valley man is facing a minimum of 80 years in prison after being convicted of sexually abusing two young girls.

Pinal County prosecutors say 27-year-old Jorge Molina was found guilty on four counts of sexually related charges against two minors, ages 5 and 8.

An investigation into child abuse began in January 2013 and authorities found Molina had sexually abused the girls for more than a year while their mother was at work.

Prosecutors say the two counts of sexual conduct carry two consecutive life terms with a chance of parole after 35 years. They say the two child molestation charges range from 10 to 24 years which may run concurrently.

Molina's sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 12.
