PHOENIX -- Eight illegal immigrants with criminal records were arrested by the Border Patrol in the past two weeks, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a release.

The eight men, from either El Salvador, Honduras or Mexico, had been convicted for varying crimes, including sexual abuse and felony robbery.

The suspects were all arrested on immigration violations and processed for deportation.
