TUCSON, Ariz. -- A man accused in a 2012 home invasion in Tucson has been sentenced to 7.5 years in prison.
Pima County prosecutors say 28-year-old Dominique Tyron Dixon pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous drug in two separate cases.
In the aggravated assault case, Dixon was accused with two other men of forcing his way into a Tucson house and attacking the homeowner and demanding money.
Dixon received 7.5 years in prison Wednesday for each of the aggravated assault charges and another 2.5 years for the drug charges. Both sentences will be served concurrently.
