Arizona man gets 626-year sentence for molesting boy
KINGMAN, Ariz. -- A 54-year-old Golden Valley man has been sentenced to 626 years in prison on convictions for child molestation and other crimes.
Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Williams on Monday ordered Edward Herald Adams to serve multiple consecutive sentences on his jury convictions last month.
The Kingman Daily Miner reported that the jury convicted Adams of three counts of sexual conduct with a minor, 16 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, and one count each of child molestation, secretly recording another person without consent and misconduct involving weapons.
Sheriff's detectives began investigating Adams after a woman reported Adams inappropriately touched her juvenile son.
The investigation led to search warrants being served at Adams' home, which resulted in the discovery of pornographic images of Adams and his victim.
