Fatal accident closes highway in eastern Arizona
SNOWFLAKE, Ariz. -- An eastern Arizona highway is closed because of a fatal single-vehicle accident.
The state Department of Transportation said State Route 77 is closed about five miles north of Snowflake because of a Friday morning rollover accident that killed two people.
No further details on the accident are immediately available.
The closure is on a stretch of highway between Snowflake and Holbrook.
Motorists can detour via State Route 377, another north-south highway that goes between Heber and Holbrook.
