PHOENIX — A highway near the heart of Phoenix was reopened Thursday after being closed by a crash, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
The southbound lanes of State Route 143 were closed at Interstate 10 by the crash for about an hour.
The collision blocked access to eastbound I-10 and 48th Street. Traffic was detoured to westbound I-10.
Northbound traffic was not affected by the crash.
Trunk Space, a non-profit organization that hosts events for art, music, theater, performance art and others will be looking for a new venue.
