SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Authorities said a former Mesa police officer has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman at his Scottsdale art gallery.

Scottsdale police said 42-year-old Walter Knox also faced charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

Police said Knox was arrested last Friday, but is out of jail. A search warrant was served at Knox Artifacts in downtown Scottsdale last week.

Two women in their late 20s are listed as victims in the police report with one of the women claiming sexual assault.

The report also said that officers said they found cocaine and guns when they searched Knox's art gallery.
