PHOENIX -- A woman has been rushed to a hospital after seven dogs attacked her at a Phoenix rental home.

Phoenix police say the 34-year-old woman suffered multiple bites on her arms and shoulders but the wounds are not life-threatening.

Her name hasn't been released, but authorities say she was trying to break up a fight among the dogs Wednesday afternoon.

KPHO-TV reports that eight dogs live at the house along with two couples.

The owner of five of the dogs was bitten in the hand and suffered minor injuries.

Maricopa County Rabies and Animal Control authorities say none of the dogs was neutered, spayed, licensed or vaccinated.

The seven dogs involved in the attack were taken by Rabies and Animal Control and will go to quarantine.
