PHOENIX -- A woman suspected of shooting two men outside a central Phoenix sports bar is facing a murder charge.

Phoenix police say 29-year-old Jessica Wood was booked Saturday on one count each of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.

Officer James Holmes says Wood approached 32-year-old Thomas Allen Marcussen and a 44-year-old man Friday night while they were sitting outside Zipps Sports Grill and shot them.

Holmes says a witness was able to disarm Wood and held her until police arrived.

Authorities say Marcussen did not survive and the condition of the over victim is unknown.

Holmes says detectives have found no evidence of any relationship between Wood and the victims.

He says she showed signs of intoxication.
