LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. -- A teenage girl has been accused of setting her family's home on fire in Litchfield Park, west of Phoenix.

Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say the 15-year-old girl reportedly was upset with her parents.

Deputies were responding to a call for criminal damage at the home Thursday night when the teen allegedly set fire to a notebook and placed it under her bed.

After seeing the fire spread, she alerted deputies.

Sheriff's officials say the girl is being held on suspicion of arson of an occupied structure and seven counts of endangerment.

The girl's name is being withheld because she is a juvenile.
