NOGALES, Ariz. -- Authorities have arrested a 38-year-old woman from Mexico who allegedly tried to smuggle heroin into Arizona by hiding it in her undergarments.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials in Nogales said two packages of heroin were found in the woman's bra and two more in her groin area.

They said Cristina Luna-Ramos had nearly five pounds of heroin that was valued at more than $67,000.

Authorities seized the drugs as well as Luna-Ramos' vehicle.

She was referred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Immigration authorities have reported several cases in the last year of people attempting to get drugs into southern Arizona by concealing them in undergarments.
