PHOENIX -- Police said a shooting victim early Tuesday morning knocked on the door of a residence in northwest Phoenix and announced he'd been shot.

Sgt. Steve Martos said a man in his 30s collapsed in a home near 63rd Avenue and Osborn Road. He was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.
