KINGMAN, Ariz. -- An arrest warrant has been issued for the father of a man convicted in the beating of a victim whose death was staged as a fatal hit-and-run accident.
A Mohave County Superior Court judge issued the warrant for 52-year-old Todd Sterling Tracy after he failed to appear for a hearing Monday on charges of aggravated assault and hindering prosecution.
Tracy is the father of 23-year-old Jade Sterling Tracy, who pleaded guilty last October to second-degree murder in the 2012 killing of Michael Clayton Clark.
According to the Kingman Daily Miner, Clark's body was found on a road but authorities said it was dumped there after he was beaten elsewhere.
Authorities said Clark was beaten because he insulted the girlfriend of Todd Tracy.
