SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Scottsdale police are searching for a man suspected of forcing his way into a woman's home and sexually assaulting her.

Officer David Pubins says the man allegedly showed up at the victim's apartment Friday at 1:30 p.m. and pretended to have a delivery for her.

Pubins says the suspect pushed his way inside when the woman opened her door and demanded she take off her clothes.

The victim told investigators he then used an article of clothing to restrain her and began to assault her.

Authorities say he left a short time later when his attention was diverted.

Police say he is described as being 6 feet, in his late 20s and having light, brown skin.

They are asking anyone with any information to contact at 480-312-TIPS.
