PHOENIX -- More than 2,000 people are expected in Phoenix for a conference on managing nuclear waste.

The four-day 40th Annual Nuclear Waste Management Conference at the Phoenix Convention Center starts Sunday and will include scientists from Japan's Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant.

Organizers say several presentations will revolve around cleanup efforts at Fukushima, including a discussion Monday with by Kazuhiro Suzuki, Executive Director of the International Research Institute for Nuclear Decommissioning.

Representatives from 25 different countries will take part in panels on the education and management of radioactive material and related topics.
