SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Authorities in Surprise say a 19-year-old woman who ran away from a care facility has been found hiding in a drainage pipe.

Surprise police say Katie Stull was located about 2 p.m. Wednesday and was being transported to a hospital for evaluation.

Police received a call from a real estate agent who reported seeing a woman sleeping in a tent in the backyard of a vacant Surprise home earlier Wednesday.

But Stull left the vacant home on foot before officers arrived on the scene. They searched the area and found her hiding in the pipe.

Police say Stull ran away from a care facility in Surprise on Monday and was considered endangered.

Details of the care facility Stull was at and how long she has been there weren't immediately available.
