PHOENIX -- Two men facing weapons and drug charges arising from a raid on a property in Yavapai County are scheduled to change their pleas Friday in federal court.
Kirby Kehoe and his 37-year-old son, Cheyne, had previously pleaded not guilty to federal charges of illegally possessing firearms and body armor and intent to distribute marijuana.
Authorities said they seized dozens of guns and ammunition when they raided Kirby Kehoe's 40-acre property near Ash Fork in October.
Both men have previous felony convictions and are banned from possessing firearms.
Authorities said the Kehoe family was involved in a plot to overthrow the federal government and establish the Aryan Peoples Republic in the Pacific Northwest.
The elder Kehoe maintains he was never involved in his sons' efforts to establish a whites-only nation.
