180 doctors from PCH make Best Doctors in America list

PHOENIX — Phoenix Children’s Hospital has again proven it’s a cut above the rest as 180 physicians have made the 2014 Best Doctors in America list.
According to a press release, “Only 5 percent of doctors in America earn this prestigious honor, decided by impartial peer review,” meaning the doctors on the list were chosen by their peers in the same specialty. Doctors cannot pay to be included on the list nor are they paid to provide their input.
The list is assembled by Best Doctors, Inc. and has 30 million members worldwide.
To create the list, over 45,000 physicians across the U.S. are polled. This year, doctors in over 40 specialties and 400 subspecialties appear on the list.
