The Phoenix Police Department responded to reports of gunshots being fired off Friday night during a basketball game at Cesar Chavez High School near 39th Avenue and Baseline Road.
Phoenix police Lieutenant Tom Van Dorn told CBS 5 that there were no injuries, but the campus had been placed on lock down.
Three were treated by Phoenix Fire with minor, stress-induced injuries from the event and the gang squad of the Phoenix Police Department was on scene investigating. Reportedly, a gang name was shouted prior to the shots being fired.
