PHOENIX -- Two men have been arrested after Phoenix police found a methamphetamine "wash lab" at a home.

Police said a wash lab is where meth is mixed with solvents and filtered to remove some of the contaminants to give the drug the appearance of glass or ice shards.

Angel Miguel Angulo-Garcia, 35, and Manuel Gerardo Trazon-Dominguez, 28, are being held on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs for sale and possession of chemicals and equipment to manufacture dangerous drugs.

Among the items seized Thursday were 24 pounds of methamphetamine, nearly two pounds of heroin, two grams of cocaine, five grams of marijuana, a handgun, three vehicles and $5,500 in cash.
