PHOENIX -- A teenager has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and other charges in the killings of two people at a Peoria smoke shop in 2012.

A Maricopa County Superior court spokesman said the 17-year-old also pleaded guilty to armed robbery and attempted first-degree murder.

The charges stemmed from the shooting deaths of 60-year-old Kenneth Matlock and 38-year-old Melinda Brown and the wounding of another person.

Judge Bruce Cohen will sentence the youth on Feb. 28. He was charged as an adult. He was 15 at the time of the killings.
