Former Phoenix police officer arrested for sexual conduct with minor

A former Phoenix police officer was arrested Friday, and booked on charges of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and sexual conduct with a minor.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, Justin LaClere was arrested after allegations were made that he committed a sex act with a 17-year-old girl Tuesday at her Scottsdale home. They had previously talked on a social media site just before the incident, according to the release.
The 32-year-old LaClere admitted to the act, according to police, and resigned on Friday. LaClere had been with PPD for seven years, and was last assigned to the Mountain View precinct.
